Dr Peter Chew
I am an Associate Professor of Psychology at James Cook University (Singapore Campus). My primary area of research focus is on behavioral addictions. Specifically, I focus on addictions facilitated by technology: (a) internet gaming disorder, (b) social media addiction, and (c) problematic pornography use. My work has been published in academic journals like Addictive Behaviors and Behaviour & Information Technology and featured in media outlets such as The Straits Times and The National Tribune.
