
Dr Peter Chew is an Associate Professor of Psychology at James Cook University (Singapore Campus). His primary area of research focus is on behavioral addictions. Specifically, he focuses on addictions facilitated by technology: (a) internet gaming disorder, (b) social media addiction, and (c) problematic pornography use. His work has been published in academic journals like Addictive Behaviors and Behaviour & Information Technology and featured in media outlets such as The Straits Times and The National Tribune.
